Shamanism to me, is a way of life. A lifelong educator helping to peel away the false personality, to cultivate relationships with nature and the unseen. A way to call back your power from all those who may have intentionally or unintentionally taken it or you have given. A reminder that life is more than the present, but to live life...is to Be With the present. It's a song from a bird, the healing powers of water, the warmth of a fire, the ground beneath your feet. It's all those who walked this earth before us and all those who will after. It's past, present, future in all times and all dimensions. It's to know how to walk with one foot in this shared reality and one foot in another.

To me, Shamanism is truth. My body feels it, my heart knows it. The study of Shamanism is not an easy path and should not be taken lightly. The lessons and challenges are real, to the core real and the only way forward is to face them head on, jumping into the void over and over again. It is trust, vulnerability, boundaries, discernment. It is protection and ultimate love.
